first let me say that I did not know a woman until I was 20 years old. Second, I did not taste alcohol until I was 22, and did not know what a pizza was. My life since I was 6 was about boxing and that was it, I knew no other life until I was 23. Even though I had an uncle who was a very powerful democratic leader in the state of Mass. I grew up not knowing that I was poor, I would see my uncle and not know how wealthy he really was, I thought that everybody lived like me. The meaning of that story was to tell you that I was not soft, I trained hard because that is all I knew how to do in my life, I knew no other way. Thus the first lesson for you: want to get in shape? train hard! That is lesson #1. I found God after I stopped boxing at 23, actually God found me just when I needed him. I lost my faith at age 27 when the devil sent an agent of his into my life, and I have been slowly developing a relationship with God again since my fall from grace. I am slowly but surely getting there day by day. Thus, lesson #2, have faith! Those are the first two lessons of getting into supreme physical condition.

As a former top amatuer and professional boxer, I am well versed in the conditioning of any athlete. Boxers are the most well conditioned athletes in the world. Boxers have to have optimum strength and still keep their speed. Also, if you are going to fight for basically 30 min. then you better have excellent endurance. So to be brief, I will give tips on the one thing I really do know--how to get in shape-- the way fighters get in shape.
